Many of our clients ask me how we came up with the name NouvelleView for our company.  The word nouvelle is the French word for “new”, and can be linked to the term “New Wave”, which is defined as “movement in which a group of people introduce new styles or ideas in art, music, politics, etc."  The basic concept of NouvelleView is to offer a new view (or angle) on moving  management.  Simple enough. Or is it?  To me NouvelleView represents so much more, so I wanted to understand the background and foundation of this company and why it truly is so  special and unique.  The skillful collaborative efforts of our founding partners Juliana Terian and Pamela Muller are what got us launched -- and off and running!  Shortly after, Patti Mazzarella was brought on board and grew our moving sale division.  I was fortunate to be invited on to the team two years ago as Project Manager.

For kicks, I looked up "if your name is Nouvelle", and I read the following:

“You have a vivid imagination and can bring inspired messages to the world. You like to enjoy the pleasures in life, and when self is overcome, you can rise to the heights. You have a reservoir of inspired wisdom, combined with inherited analytical ability, which could reward you through expressions of leadership, business analysis, marketing, artistic visions and scientific research. You want to  grow wise and to understand people and things. You have a unique way of thinking; intuitive, reflective, and absorbing.”

I couldn't believe it!  I know Juliana and Pamela have no idea how uncanny this is.  It really could be the company's mission statement!  So then, of course, I had to look up "view", right?  This is what I found:

"View:
a). An examination using the eyes; a look.   b) A way of showing or seeing something, as from a particular position or angle. c). An individual and personal perception, judgment, or interpretation; an opinion. "

My favorite part is "... and when self is overcome…".  We are only as good as the understanding of our clients. I am so grateful and honored to be able to contribute to the growth and success of NouvelleView!
