So, alone at last! I'm so filled with fear and also excitement to do the 20+ things I have on my list.  My daughter is off to college in September. I raised her alone; her dad died when she was very small. So it's been the two of us all this time.  We've moved (one of the reasons why I even started Nouvelle View!) - and we've stayed in the same place. So many memories and adventures.  People have assured me that it's not over, it's just different.

Patti Mazzarella, our moving sales expert, is also sending her last child off to university.  Thank God we have each other!

Our girls are lucky that their mothers are so well-versed in pairing down, all the while deciding how to categorize their "stuff". College kids are not supposed to be good at that. I remember my dad packing up the station wagon in Fall and then again in Spring with all my things.  I had a record player, records, tons of books, and my bedding.  Our girls will have their laptops and cellphones, and their bedding. Quite different!  But as Pamela and Kris know only too well, they will manage to fill up every box,  every nook and cranny with things they can't live without.  And because I'm so emotional at this time, I will not be the best at choosing and recommending things to her. My co founder Pamela will have to do this for me because, as she loves our girls, she also has our company's practices etched in her mind; after all she created them! Well, what are we mothers to do in the Fall? I'm sure they'll be lots of support groups for us, thank goodness! I'll be able to use my company to rearrange some of the "stuff" in my apartment.  Then, off to grow the business!  Both of these adventures will be exciting.  Agree agree please?!?
